My TV career began with Holmes on Homes. All I wanted to do was help homeowners who hired contractors who did terrible work, and someone had to fix it.

As people started contacting us to be on the show, I realized how big the problem really was.

We saw structural beams that had been removed to dangerous electrical work buried behind brand-new drywall. These weren’t just bad renovations. Some of them were serious safety issues.
