Homeowners John and Lesa have always put family and friends first. John gladly helped neighbours renovate their own homes, while always putting off plans to tackle his own aging bungalow. After suffering a stroke, John’s home no longer worked for him. Mike, Michael, and Sherry stepped up to help this much- loved couple. As the number of dangerous issues in the home grew and the scope of work multiplied, the focus was always the same; help this family.
After many months, an emotional John and Lesa return to their accessible, efficient, safe, and most of all, welcoming home.

Episode 4: Additional Stress
Things got crowded for homeowners Jason and Alison and their young sons, so a two-story addition plus extra basement space was the plan. Unfortunately, the contractor took on more than he could handle and abandoned the project, leaving this financially drained couple with an unfinished, dangerous mess. Mike, Michael, and Sherry must now contend with the triple threat of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.

Homeowners Alison and Jason were left reeling and financially drained when their contractor abandoned their basement addition project, leaving them with a hazardous home. Mike, Sherry, and Michael stepped up to fix the electrical and HVAC issues, but now must contend with unmovable bulkheads, unsightly posts, and a very bumpy floor.

Homeowners Mark and Renae had big plans to build a basement apartment in their home for Mark’s aging mom, but a crooked contractor left them with a dangerous mess and a trail of excuses. Mike, Michael, and Sherry are shocked to find live wires everywhere, sloppy framing, and dangerous gas leaks.
