Episode 1: Moving Forward In The Backyard
Mike Holmes and his kids, Michael and Sherry, help homeowner in need Kristina and her twin daughters, after their backyard renovation goes very wrong. After a tragic school bus accident, Kristina’s daughters sustained many injuries. Kristina wanted to create a backyard retreat for her kids so they could heal. A bad contractor ended those dreams. When Mike and Sherry arrive, they are shocked. There’s a live pond full of disease, uneven steps, and a fire pit that is a jumble of jagged boulders.
The Holmes family get to work to build a backyard oasis for this wonderful family, complete with a pool, pergola, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen. Kristina and the twins are overwhelmed by the transformation. The Holmes family know this has been life changing for this wonderful family.
