All American Handyman brings together 10 of the country’s most talented handymen and handywomen to compete in a series of challenges to discover who has what it takes to fix and build just about anything thrown their way.

Over the course of six episodes, competitors battle through challenges designed to test their skills, creativity and resourcefulness in a series of relatable, real-world handyman projects.

There are a few reasons I don't like to see tile over tile. Tile needs a solid, clean, properly prepared surface to bond to. Old tile can be slick, glazed, or contaminated, which means the new tile may not adhere properly. Exterior waterproofing is really the only way to guarantee the basement will stay dry for the long term.

You will want to wrap your foundation in a waterproof membrane. Usually, a black tar or asphalt compound will be painted on your concrete foundation. This is covered by a waterproof mastic coating, a mesh coating, and finally another layer of mastic coating. This is to keep water vapor from seeping through the concrete foundation.

You can use a Polyurethane injection to fill in the smaller cracks and keep moisture from coming through those cracks.
