Radon Mitigation Systems
Health Canada’s policy is that all Canadian homes should be tested for radon and mitigated if above the action guideline. Long term exposure to radon increases your risk of developing lung cancer. If your radon tests indicated high levels of radon, here are your mitigation options to reduce radon levels.
Radtrak3® Alpha Track Detector
Radtrak3 ® is an alpha-track detector that can be used for long-term radon measurements over 2-12 months, and also as a detector for occupational radon dosimetry. The exceptionally large measurement range of this detector allows measurement of radon levels from as low as 15 Bq/m3 to as high as 25,000 Bq/ m3 over a 3 month period. A reliable detector for all your measurement needs with Alpha-track technique. The detectors consist of film elements located inside pods made from antistatic plastic. Radon enters the detector by diffusion. The analysis is performed using a state-of-the-art image scanner and exposure results expressed as kBqh/m3 and Bq/m3.
lüft® Long-term Radon & Indoor Air Quality Monitor
Designed and manufactured by SunRADON, the lüft sensor monitors radon gas and indoor air quality. The lüft plugs into your indoor outlet and connects to your existing Wi-Fi. lüft sensors monitor radon gas, toxic chemicals (VOC’s), carbon dioxide, humidity and air pressure. Its sleek design blends perfectly with any home and provides a convenient status light indicating the current indoor air quality. Have peace of mind and connect to the lüft mobile app to view your indoor air quality in real-time.
Radon Guard™
Radon Guard™ is a new patent pending, structural under-slab ventilation and insulation panel system. It ensures your new building structure is safe and free from harmful levels of radiation. It’s suitable for commercial and residential applications, providing an added insulation value. Radon Guard™ is easy to install, inexpensive to transport, and has zero risk of introducing radon contaminated material into a building structure.

Radon Block™ Mitigation System
Radon Block™ is a high performance radon blocking barrier membrane that resists gas and moisture migration into the building envelope, providing superior protection from toxic and harmful chemicals. It is 100 times less permeable than typical polyethylene vapour barriers against radon, methane and other harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The membrane is a seven-layer co-extruded barrier made from state-of-the-art polyethylene and EVOH resins. This provides unmatched impact strength as well as superior resistance to gas and moisture transmission.
Airwell – Removing Methane, Sulphur, and Radon from Water
Airwell is a new technology that solves the problem of radon in well water before water enters the home. Airwell guarantees a 92%-99% reduction of all dissolved gasses in well water. It uses a “down the well” process by injecting air into the water source through an aeration pipe, resulting in improved water quality.
