GUESS MIKE'S NEW TATTOO CONTEST
The following Contest is intended for play in the United States and in Canada, excluding the province of Quebec and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. and Canadian law.  Do not enter this Contest if you are not located in the U.S. or in Canada (excluding Quebec) at the time of entry.


ELIGIBILITY:
Contest is open and offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., who are 18 years of age and older as of January 1, 2012 and legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are of the age of majority as of January 1, 2012.  Employees of The Holmes Group (“Sponsor”), their subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families (parent, child, sibling or spouse) and/or household members of each are ineligible.  By participating, you agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules.  Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec and where prohibited by law.


HOW TO ENTER:
No purchase necessary.  A purchase will not increase your chance of winning.  The Contest begins on April 5, 2012 at at 7:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on May 22, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Promotion Period”). To enter, go to www.makeitright.ca/Mike_Holmes_Online/contest.php, and a contest form will appear.  Your entry must be received within the Promotion Period.  All eligible forms received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the random draws.  Limit one automatic entry per transaction. Entries will be rejected if order form is not fully completed and submitted during the Promotion Period. There is no purchase necessary to enter.

Automatic entries must originate through makeitright.ca or holmesonhomes.com. Enter using only an e-mail address subscribed and registered in your name.  In the event of a dispute, online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry.  “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.  If the identity of an online entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry name change.  The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid online entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).

Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or mutilated entries.  Entries become property of Sponsors and will not be returned.


PRIZE DETAILS:

There will be three (3) Holmes Prize Packs awarded, each consisting of one (1) pair of Holmes Workwear™ Fitter Work Gloves, one (1) pair of Holmes Workwear™ Safety Eyewear, one (1) "Make It Right®" Book, one (1) "The Hollmes Inspection" Book. (Approximate retail prize pack value is $95 each.)

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash.  No substitutions except at Sponsor’s option.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with one of equal or greater value.  Maximum one prize per person/address.


DRAWING AND WINNERS SELECTION:
On May 23, 2012 Toronto at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) eligible entrants will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries.


The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone and will be required to complete and execute an affidavit of eligibility/compliance/liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release, to be returned within 14 days of the date notice is sent; otherwise, prize will be forfeited.  If winner is a Canadian resident, he/she will be required to correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill testing question prior to verification and award of prize.  Prize won by eligible minor in the U.S. will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian who must sign and return all required documentation. If prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, or winner fails to timely sign and return all prize documents, prize will be forfeited and will not be awarded.  If a prize is unclaimed, an alternate entrant will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries.


GENERAL: 

By accepting a prize, where permitted by law, winner grants to the Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary and related companies, and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor (which grant will be confirmed in writing upon Sponsor’s request), the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide at any time the winner’s full name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and/or biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without additional consideration, and without review, approval or notification.  By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, suppliers, prize provider and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property that may arise from participating in this Giveaway or its related activities.

Without limitation, the Sponsor and its advertising and promotion agencies will not be liable for any failure of the web site during the Promotion Period; for any technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any entry to be received by the Sponsor and its advertising and promotion agencies for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site; or any combination of the above.  Further, the Sponsor and its advertising and promotion agencies will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the Giveaway.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Giveaway, and randomly award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to entry deadline should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration or security of the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his/her Giveaway entries) who tampers with the entry process.

For the list of the prize winners, send a self-addressed, postage stamped business size (#10) envelope to the address listed below for receipt by July 31, 2012.  U.S. residents may omit return postage.
