Mike, I thoroughly enjoyed the episode "Lien on me". I'm dying to know the legal outcome of the case. If the crook that ruined their original home got a cent I think I couldn't stand it. Nonetheless the episodes leave a huge gap by not filling in the viewer with the outcome of the case. Just my two cents. Thanks.

to mike and his crew: loved the episode. I watch your show every single chance i can. i am a brick mason by trade, but am trying to expand my knowledge into other contracting areas. I think you have a great crew working for you, and to me that's a big part of this busness. you have to have people, you can count on. I would love the opportunity to work for a crew like yours.. so if you ever need any help, I'm there..

I was really impressed with the design and concept. Being an Engineer, I really enjoy seeing someone who takes pride in their workmanship and craftsmanship.
The use of floor heating really interests me. Can you provide who was the manufacturere of the styrofaom sheets with the hockey puck extrusions that allows you to weave the PEX tubing into it?

I love the programs you have on HGTV - I can't wait to see what you are capable of doing next. I would like your comments on my house when I finish it in 2012. I am putting an outdoor kitchen and a covered swimming pool extension on my home.

Mike,
First I wanted to thank you for the job that you did on the house, I was able to watch both shows and I was totally at a ah about 1.What was going on with the house and all of the problems that you endured and 2. The craftsmanship and integrity that went in to the house to MAKE IT RIGHT. I wanted to thank you for all that you do to help people MAKE IT RIGHT we live in Texas and I wish we had you or someone like you here. i am not in the trade but I wish that I could have your knowledge on how to do different things, I try but sometimes fail but I try again and learn from my own mistakes. Anyway thank you again for what you do. We watch the show everyday that it is on and I try to learn again as I am watching.
Thank you again
Jeff

I was impressed to see a cistern put in but curious as to why its only being used to water the lawn. I have a cistern in my house that I use for the toilets, wash clothes and dishes and even shower with. The cistern can be used for much more than just watering planets. I also had the water tested and its safe. Although I use city water for cooking and drinking. Why put a strain on the city resource just to flush a toilet.

I love the home. What interested me more was the cement floors. When I saw the condition of the home and how dangerous it was, I was so glad no one was injured. I've watched your show so much, that even I could spot a lot of the problems. Why did you decide to do an ECO home, how expensive is it to do and why did it take you two years to build? I know weather was factor, what else? I have really learned alot. Thank you for your show.

Loved the show but missed one episode. I watch all the HoH episodes multiple times. I have filled up my DVR with them but have to start making room for other things.

My biggest concern is that there never seems to be justice gotten on the dirt-bag contractors who do these things. Holmes makes it right for the individuals but the dirt-bag contractors continue to cheat and harm people, destroying their lives. I think we need a new TV show that 'Takes the Dirt-bags to Court and locks them in jail." Any hope of that?

Hi Mike I love the show I wish it was on 24/7 here in Dallas,Georgia. would you ever consider doing a guest appearance at The Atlanta home show. And talk to us on contractors and how to be the wiser home buyer?. I have a million questions. My son is senior in a construction class at North Pualding high school. They have adopted your Motto. And wear it as a quote on their job site t-shirts. love Kathy kmiecik

Mike you and your team are fantastic! Great job-I know this was a prototype for you and your team. My wife and I will build a house someday and that's the way we want build i--right the first time. I am a big fan of ICF but have never thought of using the precast floors. We live in Oregon USA so maybe there would be different material choices based on climate. Could you supply a list of the materials used? Looking forward to more great shows like this in the future - Paul Grigg

I am a small general contractor in the Seattle Washington area.
Mike Holmes has become my newest hero! What you did to the Lien
On me home was absolutely brilliant I am slowly moving my business

To be a home builder instead of just remodels and just framing,
everything was exactly what type of builder I am working towards
a green built home done the right way. The house was beautiful vert good job

Keep up the great work I love getting new ideas and techniques from
from you guys and applying them to my work.

P.S. I would love a chance to show my skills on American handyman
I will show that I am the best lol thanks and good luck on future projects

Love the show and this episode was a winner. Would love to hear about approximate cost for this house, given it's ecological benefits. If I buy some property, would be very interested in a similar build (without the lien beforehand of course).

Thanks Mike!

Mike,
Love your shows. Enjoyed the Lien on Me episodes. Was really impressed with the whole concept. I have to make one observation. Why did you put the washer and dryer in the basement? Speaking from a woman's point of view, and the one who does the laundry, I would never put the washer and dryer in the basement of any home I had the say so on. That is the most inconvenient place of anywhere in the home. It almost looked like an afterthought.

I really like Mike and I think he uses common sense most of the time. I'm not so sure about this house, though. Did this family REALLY want a super-modern house? It stuck out like a sore thumb in the neighborhood of more traditional homes, almost like a space ship landed in the middle of the block. I was quite disappointed with what they did.
